Faculty of Foreign Languages is committed to producing competent English bachelors who have sufficient knowledge and professional skills to work effectively in sectors using English, especially in commerce, and to meet the requirements of the society and the global economic integration.
At Faculty of Foreign Languages, students can:
- Practice and develop communication skills using English in common and professional situations.
- Be equipped with fundamental and essential knowledge of business, social sciences and humanities, the English language, and the British and American cultures, societies and literatures.
- Be equipped with significant skills for effective study and research at university, with which students can improve their knowledge and capability of using English and undertake further post-graduate studies.
Upon graduation, students can:
- Gain high levels of English proficiency,
- Use appropriate translation and interpretation techniques when translating documents of popular and commercial topics,
- Use English in different business areas such as negotiations, presentations, reports, transactions, etc.
- Compose different documents in English.
English bachelors can work at different positions, including assistant managers, bank tellers, or officers in English-using environments or in organizations of commerce, business, finance and banking, customer service, communication, translation, and interpretation, etc.
