OLYMPIC ENLISH 2023 is an academic competition in English for university students which is co-hosted by the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Youth Union and Student Union of Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB). Following the success of the first season, Olympic English 2023 season 2 has made an official comeback with an aim to find new talents at Ho Chi Minh University of Banking.
Titled "To E-nfinity And Beyond'', which has a special meaning of endless creativity and the desire for knowledge acquisition, Olympic English 2023 provides valuable opportunities for participants to freely apply their English capability and knowledge to conquer the races as well as train themselves.
The competition preliminaries were held from March 5, 2023 to March 16, 2023. From a list of more than 1300 candidates registering for the contest, 40 students with the highest scores were selected to enter the semi-final that was held from March 17, 2023 to March 26, 2023. After this round, the five best-performing contestants were shortlisted for the final.
The final of the Olympic English 2023 was held on March 30, 2023 at the auditorium of the Ho Chi Minh University of Banking, featuring many interesting performances which entertained audiences including guests from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, sponsors, and over 300 students from HUB and the neighboring universities and colleges . The judges included Mr. Nguyen Van Nguyen and Mrs. Vu Thi Thu Trang from Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ho Chi Minh University of Banking and Mrs. Tran Anh Ngan Sa.
Olympic English 2023 would not achieve great success without the contribution of the organizing committee and the sponsorship from various several companies including ZIM ACADEMY as the gold sponsor.
