From August 13, 2018 to August 17, 2018, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Dung (MA) - Vice Dean of Faculty attended the 2018 English Teaching Forum organized by Griffith University (Queensland, Australia). The main focus of the forum was on the teaching methods, materials and aids aiming to increase IELTS scores for international students, which helps meet the requirement of studying at undergraduate, graduate and research levels at Queensland universities. The lecturer had the opportunity to access advanced English teaching methods.
Another key takeaway of the forum was how to develop an English learning program for students of all disciplines. In addition, the participating lecturers from China, Indonesia, Thailand, Mexico and Vietnam also exchanged their experiences regarding the reality of teaching English at universities in these countries.
