On April 3, 2024, the Faculty of Foreign Languages (FFL), Ho Chi Minh University of Banking (HUB) successfully organized a seminar on ‘Reviewing the Business English Study Program for quality improvement’. The purpose of the seminar was to seek feedback and expert advice from different stakeholders on the periodical review of the BA Business English study program at HUB.
HUB members in attendance included Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Rector, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Dung, Vice Dean, Faculty of Foreign Languages, Dr. Luu Hon Vu, Vice Dean, Faculty of Foreign Languages, FFL lecturers and students.
Invited guests were Mr. Nguyen Ha Truong Hai, CEO of Song Bao Solutions Service Company Limited, Dr. Dao Nguyen Anh Duc, International University, Viet Nam National University Ho Chi Minh City and Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Thuy, Director of DTP - Education Solutions Viet Nam, Ltd, and Mr. Le Minh Duy, Director of The Language Academy.
Assoc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, in his opening speech, highly appreciated the joint efforts by FFL academic staff over the past years in developing and offering a number of Bachelor degree programs in Business English with different modes of delivery to meet the diverse needs of students. The Rector also suggested a future plan to develop an MA program in English Language at HUB.

The participants shared ideas and gave comments on the drafted version of the Business English Study Program. The FFL representatives responded to the comments from the participants and acknowledged the insightful contributions towards reviewing the BA Business English Study Program for better quality of delivery.
